Auger HP needed

I found a 4 in auger that is 37 ft long. But the electric motor is missing... Any ideas as to the hp needed to run this size of an auger? I would be moving cracked corn to a bin about 15 ft high.

3 HP would be more than enough.

I used the Westfield table and 6" is the smallest auger they make. Their table calls for a 3 HP electric motor for a 6"X37' auger so you should be good to go with 2.5 HP on a 4"x37'.

The gearing of the auger will have a lot to do with it will it not? I ran an auger with a half horse,bigger v pulley on the auger,smaller v on the motor,set the self unloading wagon to pour grain at a rate the auger could keep up with and just watched
