Pics of hay making

Well here is 1st cutting of alfalfa for the season far bit of grass staring to come through in this field after it was flooded back in January. Managed to get 260 bales done and carted before it stared to rain still 60/70 bales in windrows to bale yet and have had half inch of rain last night. Predicting 4 inch's from thursday night to sunday so thought green hay would be better than weather damaged hay so just got to start feeding it out before it gets hot.

It was set up to band spray one year when we where planting. Spent as much time filling it as planting. It has a few other uses handy for carting water when digging post holes in dry to clean out the last of the dirt

That's right, it's spring in your hemisphere! I have to stop and think once in a while. Looks like you're off to a good start. Nice country. Just where down under are you located?

Very pretty countryside around your large field.

Looks like a good first cutting.
