tractor rear wheel water ballasting

people nowadays doubt ballasting their tractors with water because water is not easy to adjust comparing to the cast irons as ballast weight depend on the implement one is using

You can know to the pound how much fluid you put in a rear tire..no different than knowing how many wheel weights and how much they weigh.

Let's see now...there's 'heavy water'...there's 'plain water'...there's 'spring water'... there's 'bottled water'...there's even 'muddy water'....sounds like a perfectly legit question to me.

Some people don"t prefer ballasting their tires with liquid because that type of ballast is not as easy to change to suit different implement needs as are cast iron weights. Example: when taking off the front loader to use a rear mower during a wet spring (like some of us had this year).

Ever price heavy water?
The operators at the heavy used to make their coffee and tea with virgin heavy water back in the 70's through 90's.

Now that's just silly. That heavy water has a couple of extra dutronium thingies or some such.

If you made coffee with that you'd go crazier than a canuk with a .......oops sorry!

The heavy water hydrogen atom has a neutron and proton in the nucleus instead of just a proton.
There is also water with the hydrogen atom carrying two neutrons as well as the proton. The stuff is radioactive. Also used on night weapon sights, un-powered emergency exit signs etc.
Back in the 80's it made a cup of tea worth over $100.
