Hello to all; Well, the wife and I just finished our dock! Just in time,
as the trucker we hired called and said he is about 500m from our
farm! After, he unloads a forklift, he is coming here to unload the
4000 Ford tractor, and 1927 Buick Cpe! Tractor runs grt....but the
car is a older resto, and been sitting for 26yrs in a garage in Ca. We
have had these for about 2yrs out in Ca at the BIL place and are
finally getting them home. I'll see if I can post some pics. Bobmn

Cool. I assume you are in Minnesota from your handle?

So..... There has to be a story on that Ford tractor, that isn't exactly stock off the Ford production line....... ?????

Hey Paul; Yes, on the not stock Ford. There was 2 of these tractors at the horse race track by San Fran. BIL knew one of the guys who worked there when the track closed. One fellow put one back to stock. The other fellow lived in Redwood City, so had no use for it. These were given to the 2 fellows. I had to get stock rims and tires on the tractor, so we could ship it. Not many hrs on this tractor and the cab is a Cozy Cab, made in Mn. The tractors pulled a large sheet of heavy steel, to pack the dirt on the track.....Well, this is what we were told! Thanks Bob, (northern Mn)

Gee I'd be very tempted to leave it as is, can't be many of those around...

Car looks good!

Robert, near Battle Lake Mn here.

That tractor looks a lot like the spray rigs I have seen. Put a couple 250 gal tanks on her and 60 foot of boom and you have a mean floatation machine itching to get in the field! I LOVE it!

congrats on teh purchases!

We have the same car! Not too many 27 Buicks around. Ours has been in the barn as long as I have been around, and I am 30...Ours is a light yellow color.

A friend used to have a CNH dealership. He told once of demonstrating one against a JD at the nearby track. His would go just a little faster than the JD, which was a big deal because the objective was to keep the surface from freezing when it was cold out. The driver of the JD would try to go up a gear to keep up, but in a little bit it would pull down too far and lose even more ground.

Hello guys; Wow!!! tough to get old!!!! Missed that!! Never seen that even when we were in Ca. I guess that makes it a even better deal!! Mike, the trucker, called this morning, and he will park at Wally world for tonite. I'll go up in the morn, so he can follow me home. We will be leaving the tractor as is. Take it to some close shows next yr. Snowblower tractor?? Brushhogging? Big bale tractor? We use a 706D with a Cozy Cab to blow snow now. We live south of Hibbing mn where it is wet. Thanks to all.
