Went to the Jake Schauer auction near Faith SD. Had a good section of different colors. Lot of them were advertised as restored. Most just had a du-pont overhaul. I did record most of the prices and buy number just to see if any certain buyer was buying a lot of them, some I did not stay for. Wind seemed like it was blowing 60 mph. I scanned the booklet with pictures. Prices not listed are lot 5,Oliver Super 99 think it went for 2200.00 and lot 55 which was a IH W450 reversed into a fork lift, was a diesel and converted to gas, sold for 2000.00.

Thanks Tom. Looks like some went for more than I would have thought and some went for less. The '61 930, did they mention if that was one he and his brother started farming with?

I have only been to a couple of auctione this year, seems like prices for older tractors have softened a bit. Late model stuff has increased because new tractors have gone up.

You can't go by the "Machinery Pete" on TV as he seems to pick out the most expensive items for his program.

Just my 2 cents worth.

If they did I didn"t here it. This one seemed original condition, like it hadn"t been worked real hard. Guess I must be lucky as I only give 1500.00 for mine. Mine did have better tires than this one did.
