Wind blowing so bad here in southern MN, had to quit combining at 8:00, couldn't see a thing in the headlights.
So moved some wagons around, picked up some round bales with the Ford 5200 diesel. The fella does all those sorts of tasks.
Anyhow, as I was parking it shutting down, it was putting sparks out the muffler. Pretty steady stream of them. Up & down the throttle (is it right to call it a throttle on a diesel?) didn't matter, few more streaks coming out at higher throttle settings.
Tired, I just shut it off & came in the house.
Just some carbon burning off? Or now what is going on?
