Today….. life is good! 48 years for better or for worse.

Been married 48 years today and a little of both, but more better than worse. All things considered, today is good.

We both have are little aches and pains, but for the most part we have are health.

She thinks my tractors purty.

Our kids have become adults and they aren’t in the hospital or jail.

I enjoy her company and we talk about everything.

This morning it was conversation and coffee on the front porch. Tonight it was Cardinals playoff baseball with Grilled BBQ burgers with lettuce, onions, and tomatoes on toasted buns. Some fried tators and a strawberry shake topped with whipped cream. The food was great, but we both love winning baseball in October…….together.

I’m a blessed man……..she’s a great gal. God is good!

Sounds like God has blessed both of you. Congratulations, and I wish you many more blessed years together.

Got married in 1964 & when asked about how long I've been married, I say, "I had about 4 good years of marriage".

Thirty, forty, or more is a record to be proud of now-a-days. Congratulations to the both of you! Wishing you many, many more.

We have been married 27 years! My sister and I are planning a 'get together' on the 16th for my folks' 50th! Congrats to you!

I commend you.
The longest I have made it is 3 1/2 years, and even then, I wanted to put a plastic bag on my head. Of course, none of the women I find (Pittsburgh, PA metro) are into farming, and they don't know what a cultimulcher is... Sounds like you got a winner.

IF I could find one who knows what a diverter valve is, can stand teh smell of manure in the morning, and who rather see me spend $500 repairing the combine than go for a weekend get-away... Well, I will definitely put a ring on that finger.

and stop it will you! I haven't had a good homemade burger fries adn a shake in at least 15 years. (not counting the mcdonald's fare I seem to wind up eating on a weekly basis)

Don't give up! I didn't find a good one until I was in my mid thirties! One year was a long time before that, now we been together for 20 years and still best friends. Good Luck

Congratulation. We have made it to 60 and are in the nursing home together. Still manage to smouch a little.

Got married when I was 40 now 25 years later both of us realize life is better together then apart. Adapting when you are 40 is really, really dificult.

31 years this past January. I still remember the first time I laid eyes on her. (and hands!)

I have an aunt who got married for the first time this year, she is 65. She said it took this long to find a man she would live with.

I think it was growing up on a cotton farm with 6 brothers and 5 other sisters in a 2 bedroom house. She just enjoyed her space and a house with indoor plumbing when she left home.

Congratulations, My wife and I made 24 years on the 3rd of October, really seems like only a few years, time flies...

I've only been married 36 years, but mom and pop have been together 73 years.Dads 92,mom will be 91 tomorrow.
