Tire traction

A turf tire has a traction rating of 1, an Ag tire of 10. All other things being equal, where would the industrial tread come in?

I'd guess around a 6 or 7. But out wear a Ag by a lot.

Wider bar and higher ply to wear better but would not grip the ground like a ag tire. Tire is to stiff.

Just my opinion.

Traction where and in what...on dry grass or gravel or pavement they are fairly good, but in mud or snow they fill up quickly and become a racing slick.

I wouldn't rate them that high. Might be a 4 or 5 and extremily bad on a Hillside will slide on you. "Don't ask me how I know".

I'd have to agree with IaGary, I can really tell the difference between my 1206 IH and my TLB. Where you really feel the difference is on ice and snow.

I have sold many L series Kubota,s telling people they wer mid way so I guess that would be a 5 but I always caution them that on wet grass you can go for a ride. Never get on a hill side with wet grans and something like a fertlizer bugy behind you.. For lots of people they make a nice choice. I always thought they stood up better. Not as many punctures and longer tread life. No tire is really worth much on ice and so so in snow.
