Heider Gravity Wagon

A local consignment sale tomorrow has 4 Heider gravity wagons on it. Looks like heavy duty running gears. All are missing the spout for the door and the gear on the wheel that raises the door on each one has teeth missing so the door doesn't open. Are Heider parts still available? Any idea what they are worth? Chris

I doubt you will find the gears. Maybe you can hand make them,tolerances aren.t that tight. Neighbor had one he sold on my first auction in 84 He said the slope wasnt steep enough for wet corn.

I have seen a piece of roller chain welded to a door and used for a rack and a matching sprocket used for the pinion gear on the shaft. A cheap rack and pinion combination. I don't remember on what!
