Problem is when I flip the fuel tank switch to the rear tank I am not getting any fuel to the engine. I know it has fuel in it because I just put some in it. The fuel gauge for the rear tank does not move at all. Any suggestions where to start. I swapped the relay under the hood and that made no difference. Does this truck have in tank fuel pumps. If so I would think it would have double fuel fuses and I don't see any sign of that. Thanks for your help.

They are notorious for one tank or the other not working. I've hardly been in one that the rear tank works in.

The gas ones I'm sure have a pump in each tank. Diesel should too.

If Im thinking right, you have one in each tank, low pressure pump, then one on the frame rail, high pressure, but I guess it depends on year and such.

Check the transfer valve under the vehicle. the switch on the dash activates a valve under the vehicle that switches from one tank to the other. It won't be hard to find as it will have wires and several hoses attached to it. They fail from time to time and have to be replaced.

If you've already switched the power relays
then you've gotta get out the test light & see
if you have juice. If Not it's the wiring
/switching valve. Test at the pump, it's
probably the pump in the rear tank.
