OT-breakfast toast

We must be out of bread.This morning,Susan just put a half a hotdog bun in the toaster and made toast.Pretty resourceful.Just one of the MANY reasons I love her!!!

Hamburger buns toast up quite well also.
 
My dad loved egg sandwiches. He would always ask me to fix them for him because he liked the way I did it.

I would fry the eggs, get the white done,then break the yolk and spread over the entire egg. Fry the bacon nice and crisp, then toast the bread. It was his favorite meal.
 
Done a similar thing before when out of hamburger buns and didn"t check before grilling. I cut a hotdog bun perpendicular, then opened up both halves for a top and bottom bun.
Kids thought it was great.
 
Yep, I have an over-easy egg on wheat toast, and 1/2 grapefruit, every morning. Never get tired of it.

Wife doesn't want to eat until 10 or so, and goes to work at 7- so I fry her one with broken yoke, put it on bread and fold into a sandwich, with hot tea and a banana, and she takes the whole mess to work. I also feed the horses and goats in the AM. Not many guys make breakfast for wife, but it gets me out of a lot of other stuff- I know which closet the vacuum cleaner and mop are in, but that's about as far as it goes. And she'd just set the house on fire if she tried to make breakfast, anyhow.
 
When I make pancakes sometimes I do a large batch and freeze some. When we were out of bread I've used pancakes for a sandwich, worked for me.
