Just wondering if anybody runs them on their grain/ flex table. Got some tall beans in a few fields and it is claimed it helps with running the reel high without slugging. I don't see harvest for another three weeks so I have time to order and install.

Most of these types of things are sold as "cure-alls". If you have your reel and cross auger properly adjusted you won't need them. Many cross augers are run too high from the platform bottom so naturally there will be a perceived benefit from these types of gadgets. If you run the cross auger where it should be (somewhere around 3/8" clearance on the bottom) you will have little or no feeding problems and can save your money for repairs on your combine. I bought a platform a few years ago that was a year old and the cross auger was factory set at an inch above the platform bottom. It is a full finger auger and fed poorly. I adjusted it down to where it needed to be and it works well now. Get a piece of 3/8" or 1/2" plywood, set your auger down on it, and you will be much happier. Mike
