The squirrel cage exhaust fan on my Heil N.G. furnace is shot. "They" would like to sell me a new assembly including; fan, motor and housing for prox $250. Who will sell the fan alone? It is 4 1/2" diameter, 1 1/4" wide with 1/4" shaft.

That is not a bad price, Water furnace wanted $500 for the unit in mine.

I agree with Granger. You could probably just get the parts that are shot. I bought a replacement motor for a window AC unit one time.

Get the numbers from the fan motor and go to an appliance repair place. There is most likely a Fasco motor that will work.
