Doyal what part of Tennessee,,, We are at Dover Tn have put several loads down there. The freight is the big thing . Have a kid in Stevensville Texas whose father lives here in Stewart County, been working on the hay deal.

What's your zip code,approximate weight and quality of bales? What type hay and can you post some photos? I have a load of Brome coming next week from Missouri but my neighbors and myself are needing more hay.
Hauling is expensive $3.50 a loaded mile if trucker deadheads and half that for a back haul if one can arrange it. On my load coming I lucked out and found a back haul.
A lot of very light,sorry quality bales are being sent and sold in Texas!!!!!!!!!

The hay that I have is mixed grass with some Johnsongrass mixed in. I have not had it tested but guess it to be in the 10% protein range. I would estimate the weight at 850-900 lb range wrapped with plastic twine. It has been baled in the last 5 days. My zip code is 37388. I hope this helps. All I am asking is for my baling bill which is $15 per bale. Thanks, Doyle

You're correct as all cattle sale barns around me are having 1500-2500 hd every week that normally only run 500-1000 hd. Some barns were sending cattle home back during the 100+ degree days because animal rights people made them. But there's still a lot of people looking for hay around me for cows & horses.

Thank-You for this. I'm sure there are folks that can use some of that. I know what it costs to bale hay, no matter what kind or where it is at, it costs more than that to get it baled. Your heart is in the right place.

I made many trips with a 1 ton and goose neck trailer to that part of the world when SE USA was in a drought about 3-4 years ago. We had too much here so I was hauling it to the folks there that didn't have any rain to make hay. I was getting $75.00 per roll total cost. 23 rolls per load. If I had the time now (got full time job now) I would be there to haul some back over here.
