I am in East Central Iowa and can smell pine smoke. Is this the smoke from the boundary waters fire?

The smoke in not in Central MN, so probably not, unless it is being blown west at this time. Jim

Possibly. I looked around a bit at weather sites in the Cedar Rapids area & didn't come up with much. I did, however, find some NWWS-direct info about the fire itself & some awe-inspiring pyrocumulous. The link is below.

This past Tuesday at work I could smell the same, saw a haze in the air. Not a cloud in the sky and the temp was no that bad. The Chicago nightly news said it was from the Minnesota fire. Work is in Mt Prospect, Il.
