Brandt 4000EX grain vac

Does anyone use one of these? I have had one for a couple of years, don't use it a whole lot, works fine, the only trouble I have is the belt will slip at high rpms. I don't have a book for it, just how tight can I run that drive belt? Brian(MN)

Have ran them for 12 years of more, we have a 4500ex now. The belt needs to be very tight, I will see if I can find my book and look in there. About the only thing we have had to replace on it regularly is that belt. About every 2-3 years. Our may squeal a little when starting it up, but never at high speed. Don't buy the belt from the dealer, they are way to high priced on all Brandt parts. I can get them from A&I for a lot less.
