After my son helped me by putting wagon hitch in backwards and it blocked the needle yoke witch caused the notter drive chain to break,Quick fix right. Wrong didnt get it timed just right and you know what happens, spend some time welding things up. Glad I know someone who welds for a living.
I got it back together and it bales like a new one.

I know what you mean. I was working on making a new liner for the spout on our fox 3000 this weekend. I ended up using a peice of the blown out blower band from it. Cut it downto the length & width I needed, drilled & countersunk the bolt holes and stuck that in.

Hopefully it works longer than the plastic I have been putting in there.

My next job is to fix the green chopper- the Auger tray rotted and fell out, and it pulled some of the steel sawy from the blower housing on it too. We've got another one behind the barn for parts so it shouldn't be too terrible, but still a pain.

Got a pair like that in the polebarn, just waiting to be put in energency service. Hopefully, I never have to use "em.
