need to put new rear sliding glass in 98 dodge pu son broke one side,found one at savage yard for 100 dallors.not like older style with mtg rubber.any help would be wellcomed. email open thank in advance dan

Probably goes in like a windshield. You need the windshield glue to hold it in. Clean the metal and apply a generous bead of glue, press the window in and tape it in place till it cures. Doesn't take to long. Get the glue at a auto parts place. You might need a special knife to cut the old glue bead also. That will be the hardest part.

You will need to use a urethane as the glue. You should remove as much of the old urethane as possible and use a windshield primer on any bare metal spots. I don't know if you managed to save them, but most of the ones I installed on those year dodges had a c-clip that would hook over the pinchweld and the rear glass to hold it in place once installed. I think there was 6 used normally.
