1944 John Deere B

I have a 1944 John Deere B,hand start. The last few times I"ve started it,it sprays quite a bit of fluid out of the petcock on the hand clutch side the flywheel side it doesn"t spray out of it.I know that it"s getting to much fuel if it comes out of the petcocks but I"m starting it the same as always and I"ve never had this much come out of it.Also I"m getting fluid dripping down underneath the hood up by the exhaust can"t really tell where it"s coming from.I have to do a little more investigating on that because all the hoses seemed dry when I checked them out.Funny thing is it only leaks under the hood right when it fires up,then it doesn"t leak anymore.Seems like it does it when you have compression right before it fires. Any clues?

May be a good idea to shut the gas OFF, when you shut it off...
See if that cures it..
What is the fluid you see look like..??
Anti-Freeze, Oil or Fuel..??
