battery cables

Hi Guys:
What would a battery cable for IH 806 cost
1. from starter to battery and ground cable.and a 2'cable cost.

I make them myself from 00 welding cable and soldered on connectors from NAPA, and the welding shop, I use shrink tubing and silicone grease to prevent corrosion in the joints.

I make them the same as Jim described. I only make them as long as necessary. Check with your local welding shop to see if they have any used welding cables. Hal

I will estimate the cost at between $25 to $30 for a 2' #1 gauge cable with heavy duty ends. The other cables will be more or less, depending on the length.
