This is the dual fuel manifold of my Farmall Super A.

A crack has developed nearly vertically up from the exhaust port of cylinder 2, as indicated by the red arrows below. The manifold is in fair condition otherwise and I would like to keep it on the tractor. (Even the heat valve is adjustable!)
What should I do?
a) leave it alone because it does not affect the inlet and it is bolted to the head anyway.
b) have the crack brazed?
c) have the crack welded?
d) other options???

Thanks, Hendrik

A good welder who under stands preheat and slow cooling can fix it.Replace those studs and use brass nuts.

I have John deere 430 cracked manifold and Moline GB cracked manifold. I took both of them to very good welder and it turns out great. A good welder would be able to fix it.

I would leave it alone, I see this site sells new ones for a little over a hundred bucks if 10 years down the road it gives you trouble.

Sean, thanks for your suggestion.
This site and others do sell manifolds, but these are gas manifolds. Would like to retain my dual fuel manifold.
