Ted Nugent at the fair

Went to a ted nugent concert at central wi fair sat,nite.He said he is 63 years old and never did drugs or achohl hard to belive.For being 63 he played for over 90 minutes straight and I mean a very phycicul show.Gov was taking it on the chin with his comments and he was not holding back on them.He said this was his second to the last concert this year.Did 60shows this year.Said the rest of year he kills --it.He sent 1200 lbs venison jerky to the troops .I wish I had his energy.
 
Nugent is real big in the Detroit area. He grew up in a Detroit suburb called Redford, a dump. Nugent has a big mouth and is a jerk but.....at least he is a right winger.
 
He's pretty flambouyant, saw him with Damn Yankees years ago during the first gulf war and he had to shoot a cutout of Sadam Hussein with his bow!
 
From what I understand he has a big place up in MI and he does a thing for special need kids and helps them learn to hunt and stuff like that.
 
People where I live see him often in gocery store or walmart cause he visits friends here and he is always a nice common joe with the exception that he turns people off with the F word. One business asked him to either stop using that word or quit coming to the business. He does have great views though on how far off center our country has gotten. We need to pull back somehow to save ourselves.

I'm from Fraser, MI, and in the mid eighties, I dated Lisa Kiswiney who went to my high school, and is the daughter of Nugent's present bass player at the time (1980's); Dave Kiswiney. In the early 2000's, my brother did some recordings with former Ted Nugent singer,..Charlie Huhn (Weekend Warriors). I've seen Ted Nugent about 8 times in the Detroit area. I only can think of how close I was to meeting Ted Nugent, but never did.
 
No kidding, I dated a girl that lived on Mulvey street in Fraser, back in the late 80s. I broke up with her cause she was as dumb as a rock.
I grew up in the northern Mt. Clemens area. I moved out of Macomb county 20 years ago.

I grew up in that corner house of Garfield and Mulvey! Do we know each other?
 
If we had more high profile people like Ted Nugent to speak. Some see him as a loose cannon, but he has a lot of good points in his discussions. We could use about 50 like him in Washington instead of the brain dead ones we currently have.

I dont remember her name, I graduated from Lanse Cruse North HS in 1987, a lifetime ago.
It is sad how much Macomb county has gone down the crapper since I was a kid. I worked in South Warren in the late 80s, Went to school at South Macomb Comm. coll. You wouldnt want to walk the streets in Warren now. Roseville, EastPointe, St. Clair shores have had Detroiters move in and I dont know how bad it is there now. I never go there. I had 2 sets of Grandparents that lived in Roseville and Eastpointe. The first house I lived in as a young child was in Eastpointe (East Detroit back then) My parents moved in 1976 when I was 7 years old.
I now live in Northern Oakland county, far away from the blight, crime, inner city cesspool. Pontiac is 15 miles from me.
