purple power, used in a garden hand sprayer... buy it from advanced auto in 2.5 gallon container.

I usually use a heavy duty pressure washer and try to knock off as much of the grime as I can.
Afterwards I use liquid Tide laundry soap. Use it straight out of the jug and brush it on everywhere with a stiff plastic bristle brush.
Works good and makes your tractor smell good.

i dont have a steam cleaner either. its hard to beat oven cleaner. i"ve used alot of "hot"(exspensive) products even degreaser from work. i"ll stick with oven cleaner, only a buck a can at the dollar store.

I've used Pine Sol from Sam's Club. I use it on the shower walls too. Then use a power washer that heats the water. We had a Karcher at work and we used a good grade of kerosene in it. We had steam jennys at work until they were banned. I used one of them back in 1975 when I was restoring a Farmall A on the engine block. They also used them for removing that cosmolene from the big gun tubes. Hal
