Dotter wants to go the HIGH SCHOOL football game tomorrow night instead help loading the tractor on the truck and trailer for antique pull on Saturday - PLUS hanging around with dad.

Is this normal? Thought you might know.

Well, where is she going to find more attractive young men? At a football game or tractor pull? Or I might rephrase that, Where is she going to find more young men that will be attracted to HER? Been through it twice myself. Give 'em time to grow up, they will appreciate the old man.
My oldest daughter called me the other day and said, "Dad, wanna go to the tractor pull at at Silk Hope, Friday night? I allowed as to how I might.

Told ya a while back to get rid of that there smokeing oilallover. now it's done bit you. get her one of them there bright new $150,000 shiny GREEN dears johns.

If ya had a nice pretty red tractor she could ride on and attract attention, she'd be right there with you.....Making her go along with them nasty green things is nuttin less than child abuse

LOL yer in fer it now! hate to tell you this but girls like to be at the happening place. Most of the kids she knows think the game is a happening place (with young men who pay attention to em not a tractor    and are full of sperm    and that tractor pulls only attract drooling inbred morons.....and they may well be right    ! Ya gotta give her her space. I raise 3 daughters    they are a pain in the butt but ya still gotta love em 8) .......they get better as they get a bit older!

Well Mr. the time has come in your life to
realize you dont have what it takes anymore.
We"ve raise three girls, all different but
at somewhere between 11 & 13 they all had
interest of there own that out shined anything
they did earlier. When the family was out
together they walked 20 yards ahead of you or
20 yards behind you. It"s part of life, & it"s
there time for them to create who they are &
who there going to be.

well jim, welcome to the FFA !!!! Fathers Farm Alone!!!! my dotter is a senior in high school, has discovered fancy clothes and has a boyfriend. (he is a left handed pitcher, senior also, and has been scouted by the major leagues). now all of a sudden helping dad just plain dont fit in her schedule. between the 2 farms, body shop and 3 rental properties, i get to work 7 days a week....woo-hoo!!! i was hoping she would date a farm boy who could eventually inherit my "empire" . SWMBO has a habit of wandering off when there is work to be done, and complains about all the "junk" i have accumulated. (i prefer to call it "treasures and collectibles" .) i keep telling SWMBO, when i have my estate auction people are gonna say .....where the h*ll did he find all that sh*t !!!!! i feel yer pain kruser!!!

My daughter just turned 17 in July.fortunalty she still wants the country life. Her daily routine all summer has been works at horse farm doing chores at 6am for two hour,Then she trains a horse and gives riding lessons for 3-4 hours. Then she comes back home for lunch then leaves to go to a dairy farm and milks 120 head of cows and comes home around 8pm. Right now she stops at the neighbours after work to work with her 4H lambs and heifers. This weekend is a big fall fair around here and she shows sheep friday and beef cattle Saturday and a horse show on Sunday. Can you guess who gets to tag along if I can keep up.She had aboyfriend aat the end of school last year and decided that he was holding her back and moved on.(YES)They know what's best and I'm sure she will be there to help on Saturday(maybe a little tired from the late night but there just the same). Good Luck at the pull
