im trying to replace the temp gauge on my jubilee, it may or may not be the original, its a numbered gauge, ive been around this machine for almost 30 years and ive not changed it, now, the new one, the fitting on the back side of the capulary tube will screw right into the jube's head, of course that way there is nothing to hold the bulb on the end of the capulary tube in place nor will it seat on anything in the head, its loose and will leak, there is 2 fittings included in the new gauge kit, these have a seat in the bottom, of them put one on the end of the capulary tube and life would be good, except, none of these fittings will screw into the jubilee, one fitting is the same size, but .30 thousands too large so the threads wont start, just spent all morning playing in the auto parts store and still dont have anything that will fit the head, what thread is it? what are you guys having to do to mount a new gauge unit in the head????
