The engine in this tractor was completly dismantled 40? years ago and has sat inside a building all these years. Everything is very rusty-cylinders, cam crankshaft, main ball bearings, and oil pump-everything.Is there any way to economicly remove the the rust well enough to just get this thing to run again?

Yes, soak it used motor oil. Mop it on with an old paint brush every day or so for about a month or so and pressure wash it after.

I would look into soda blasting or shell blasting, these blasting agents won't ding up your parts like sand would. Keep it all dry until after the blasting and then soak it all in Kroil Sili-oil. That stuff is powerful for clean ups. Hone the Cyl walls. does a 10-20 have Cyl, Sleeves? I can't remember.Regardless, a honeing will prep the Cyl Walls good.New pistons and rings, maybe rod pins and lots of hand work. Take the head to a head shop and let them take over.In 6 months or so of spare time work you will have her hummin.
