Any body know if a JD243 (2row narrow) head off a JD300 picker will fit a JD3300 combine? Any other brands of narrow corn heads that could be made to work? Anyone know where a narrow row head might be that would fit? Surely could use a little help on this.

It should "FIT" but I'm thinking you'll darn near be running corn down with the combine..

I had a JD 343 on mine, IIRC (3 row narrow) and it worked pretty well for me.. Had to take it kinda easy in heavy corn, but otherwise I can't recall any other issues.

The 243 corn head will not fit the feeder house on the JD 3300. It is too narrow. It required a different mount on the JD 300 husker.

The bigger problem is that the head would be 60 inch wide. The narrowest a JD 330 can get is at least 80 inches or maybe a little more.

The JD 3300 was made to run the JD 244 or JD 344 for wide rows and the JD 343 for narrow rows.
