Sandwich 4 Hole Corn Sheller Info Needed!

I know of an old 1918-1919 Sandwich 4 Hole Corn Sheller that is for sale nearby. The owner said that it is wooden and in great condition, it has always been shedded. It was purchased by the owners great uncle new.

I am wanting to find out what one of these things is worth. I have never seen one sell, and actually had never heard of them until recently.

I am doing as much research as I can on them, I found a factory photo of what they look like and I think that they are a very neat piece.

Any info on these old corn shellers would be great!

I traded some work for one that was either a 4 hole or a 6 hole. Sold it to a young guy from Rockford Illinois for $450.00.
He came to Kansas and got it and got it running again. The report was it had a hard time getting the clean grain away from the unit because the more modern kernels of corn are larger than those back 90 years ago.
 
The Sandwich company was absorbed by New Idea Farm Equipment who was absorbed by Avco who sold the New Idea part to Agro. Sandwich was located in Sandwich Illinois and New Idea had a manufacturing plant and branch there for many years. I have a business card that I carried when I was a Territory Manger That said New Idea Divison of Avco. They actually manufactured the Lycombing Aircraft Engine. They were a very profitable company and New Idea Mangement had high hopes with the availability of money. This when they bought the Minny Mo Uni=harvestor and redesigned it. They also started selling Irrigation Equip. They rejected getting the Valley line of pivots and stuck with hand move. Boy did they miss the boat. I jumped off of the boat just before Agco came on the sceine. I have alway said if New Idea and Oliver would have joined up it would have been one great Line
