can the transmison driving seal be replaced without splitting tractor or removing the clutch pressure plate. is there enough room by just uncopling the drive shaft

Loosening the Pressure plate is necessary, not removal. The clutch shaft needs to come out. No big deal if you hold your mouth right!!!! !!!!. Jim
