Just caught your last post on geothermal.
My summer bill just doubled. My electric is supplied by Consumer Energy. There is a penalty over a certain kwh consumption, to help deter excessive A/C usage.
I would double check with your electric provider what the actual summer savings will be. Last I knew, DTE ran two meters to the house, one for the house and one dedicated to the geo-unit. Where Consumers Energy (mid-Mich), only runs one meter, at a tiny bit of a discounted rate.
