have more bargins commin this week. Dont meen to brag but I just got to on these deals. LOL

So have the round baler engineers got all the kinks out? Seems like I hear about all kinds of problems with them....string, some now wrap in a net...bales come out loose, untied...burst

Ah but the big question is, is how much will it cost to make it work like it should or who did you hold at gun point to get a working one for free. Most be something your not telling use

Well I always said that any hay bales with a JD 510 baler was dry. What???? You will find out. IF there is any tough hay that baler will not bale it. It will wrap the bottom roll. You can make a fair bale of hay with one of those balers but it is the operator that will make it happen. There is a few tricks to learn in running one of these closed throat balers.

1) Make sure the hay is well dried.
2) Do not make too large of a windrow.
3) Drive slow enough that the baler pulls the hay into the pickup. You can not over run the pick up with these balers and not plug them.
4) If the hay is real dry and slick start a new bale with the tractor running at a slow speed until the bale forms and starts to turn. If you run the PTO speed too high the belt will slip off the sides of the hay bale start and let the hay plug the baler.

That is all I can remember right now.
