I'm want to buy a Farmall garden tractor w/offset seating that allows implements attached in the rear to be raised/lowered independently from those attached underneath. What model do I need?

Farmall garden tractor? Offset seat ? Mean like a B which is far from a garden tractor .

Offset Farmalls are much more than garden tractors, and were (and still are) depended upon to run real farms. However, the models that fit your description are the Super A, 100, 130 and 140. 140s are the most plentiful of these, and the most powerful. Don't buy a Cub, because the front and rear hydraulics work together. A "regular" A may work for you, but they have an armstrong lift. If it were me, I would look especially for a 140. Make sure you get one with a fast hitch and a plow, and possibly a disc. Other implements and be easily fabricated to work on the fast hitch. You also need a good set of cultivators, and a fertilizer distributor and hopper.

I guess gardens come in many sizes, for a farmall tractor like a B or a A or the smaller Cub you would want to messureyour garden in acres and not sq feet. I used to do about 4 acres of market garden , and we used a Super A to scuffel , tomatoes peppers sweet corn ect. hope this helps.

The Cub was about the only one that was really made to be a large garden tractor all other off set tractors where cultivator type tractors for the big fields. That said a lot depends on how big a garden you put in. If say an acre or more the cub, A Super A C or Super C and or some of the ones like the 100 etc

I have had a cub what a joke,,, I have a 100 and a 140,,, the 100 has been supped up with 140 parts... Me it would be at least a 100 up with the right cultivators/plows it can not be beat for what it was intended to do....
If i had to sell down The 100 will be the last to go..
