transmission shifting for 1066 international

i bought a tractor 1066 international with hydro shift and don't know anything about shifting this transmission or how to work some of the other levers. does anyone know where i can get information on how to operate this tractor. i don't want to mess something up, thanks Rodney
 
You need on Operator's manual.

The FIAT dealer can get you one, you can probably find an original on fleabay, or surf on over to external_link.
 
Real simple

The lever on the left controls the forward and reverse of the tractor. The further you push it the faster you will go. -- both forward and reverst. Here is the best part no clutch just push the lever

Its infanatly adjustable and does not require the clutch. It will also stop you quickly

The lever on the right is the high low transmisson and you HAVE to use the clutch. High is forward low is back and in the middle is netural

For specific tasks its the best tractor you'll ever own. -- hay work, loader, harvester, planter

For heavy tillage its terrable as the trans looses 30 percent of the drawbar HP versus gear drive
 
By "hydro shift" are you referring to "Torque Amphifier" which is controlled by the lever on the left or are you referring to a "Hydrostatic Drive" tractor? In either case and for all information, you need to order a operators manual from a CaseIH dealer or other sources.
