Broke a record here in Middle Tennesse for heat today. True heat not heat index 108 deg. Not been that hot on this dat before in 86 years..
Not as dry as our Texas friends but sure is hot.

We finally got some relief in SD today. High was 58 this morning and supposed to reach 83 tis afternoon. Dew point was down to 51 this morning. We could finally open the windows and turn the air off for awhile this morning.

You must be in Northern Missouri. In our part of SW Missouri, 108 yesterday, cooled down to 102 today. May have a cooling period down to mid 90s this weekend and next week, but not much a chance of rain. This year is alot like 1980 to me

I am here at the lake of the Ozarks and this info came from KY-3 out of Springfield so do not know where you are but they said it set all time records today

As per both Kolr10 and KY3 out of Springfield MO records highs have been set for the last 3 days that being Monday, Tuesday and then again today

Here in Dallas we've been setting several new records.

Set new high temp records for the last 3 days.

Set all time high electricity usage each day for last 3 days.

Set new high overnight temps last 3 days.

Would like to quit setting records.

i woke up this morning at 7 in sc and it 83, not to bad since it was 104 yesterday.
