Craigslist rant

I posted for sale items in Pittsburgh (Craigslist)

I wanted the items to have a larger area for exposure so I was going to post in Altoona Pa, and Youngstown Ohio.

After going through the whole system of loading pics an all, they say I cannot do that ?????????

"Cannot make multiple Listing of the same "

Guess I'll just have to run it a couple days here, and there

Chances are it will show up on all three anyway.
I have been looking for a camper, and I have seen the same one on five different cites, all close but across state lines

On your listing for another location, just word the heading a little differently. It will be accepted that way. Don't ask me how I know LOL

Anyone who is looking seriously for what you're selling will use a search engine like Search Tempest that checks all the Craigslist listings in a region.

That is one of the things in the agreement's small print. It wants you to post once, in the closest market to you, and as mentioned below,'they' have ways of spreading it to other areas as people search. I guess the main reason is they don't want people involved in long distance transactions, they want you to sell out of your yard, the buyer to meet in person and pay in cash, and take home that day. Just the exact opposite of ebay? Most everything I bought or sold since going online is Craigslist, limited, but never went to the cleaners either...

well im sure most of you know that i post all over the place and bordering states so i get that every now and then. all you have to do is reword it. re arange the words and pics and most of the time it will work. add more or take a few words away and rephrase it. it will always work if you do it the right way.

I had this problem when I started selling stuff on craigslist. Type it up in all the cities you want to post it in. Then when you get the email to publish it wait until you have all of them typed and then publish each of them. It will go through without a problem. Works for me.
