Quick Attach 2846 Loader

Hello, I am new to this site and need help. I have a MF383 with a QT 2846 Loader that I have had for two months. It has worked without issue however I recently disconnected the loader. Now with the loader reconnected to the hyd. port with the hyd. port arm pulled back (as it normally operates). The arms will only raise not lower and the bucket will only lower not raise. Do I have a problem with the system or am I over looking something?

Sounds like it to me too. Sounds like a boom and a bucket hose in one valve and a boom and a bucket hose in the other.

I thought so too so I swap the hoses in the ports and had same.
But I will try again in morning. Thanks for the reply.

Make sure the quick couplers are fully engaged and once you get the hoses hooked up right, colour code them. I think you can buy tags for colour coding hydraulic lines or you just use paint. Almost guaranteed you have the hoses hooked up wrong.

Follow up to my problem. Found one of the hoses from the loader check valve that plugs into the tractor remote was not opening. Found this when pushing each hose ball end on a surface to see if moving free and it was stuck. After doing this plug both back in and loader worked.
