Finally Got The Ta Apart In Super Mta. The Rollers Are In 2 Pieces. Split In half. i Think It would Be Better To Get a rebuilt ta. Than To rebuild Mine.Also Some Rollers Have Flat Spots On Them. Asking For Advice. Thanks In Advance.
 
go on down the forums list to tractor tales, click on there, might wake him up, he likes to hide out and sleep down there. might not get him for a while getting storms in his area, he might bee offline. PS I used to have a 8n but I sold it.
 
Yes you will probably be better off buying a rebuilt ta. There are several places that you can buy remanufactured ta's. Case IH no longer carries complete ta and I would not suggest buying the parts to rebuilt it from them either it's to expensive. While you are replacing it I also recomend that you buy the lifetime ta it is built better and it will be the more expenxive ta. I think A and I, Hy Capacity, and I'm sure more places have the parts or complete units.
 
Ok i am awake NOW for the third time . Yes you would be much ahead of the game with a complete unit . I am partial to Hy Capacity units , sold and installed them for twenty years and never had a problem with any of there stuff.
