Yep NOAA had it as 30% chance of rain and thunder storms and it just 30%ed all over us. went and looked at the rain gauge and it says we got an inch in about 45 minutes or less. We did need the rain and it also has cooled it down a bit.

We got a little rain around 1 pm today. I just came in from cutting the grass, dry enough to cut as of 6 pm.

Pray for rain in Texas, they need it bad. Lots of folks down there are hoping for a Hurricane to hit and dump several inches of rain.

on the il wis state line we got 2.2 inches of rain over night until about 10am.
i talked to a lady who runs a farm equitment business with her husband and son they live about 6 miles form me and got an inch.
she told me her s-i-l who farms with his dad lost 5 dairy cows due to heat.

I'm on my way to AK. on my motorcycle. I road 600 miles today in pouring rain through Edmonton And about froze my butt off. I have not figured out the celcious thing yet but I don't think it got above 60 degress in BC today. My crops are burning up back home in Michigan. Every thing looks flooded up here.

Got up at 4:30 this morning t see my daughter off to work, temp. was 79 deg. My truck hasn't been moved all week and has half inch of dust on it from the neighbors running in and out. They come out of their drive like a rocket off a launching pad! Weatherman says 20% chance of late afternoon and evening thunderboomers for the next few days. Now, if you add up the 20% chance for five days that's a 100% chance. Well, it don't hurt to dream, do it?
