Ford clutch problem

The tractor is a Ford 3000 "66 model with 540 trans; 4spd. Ran fine when I parked it Sunday; but went to start it yesterday and the clutch pedal is not disengaging the trans. Is this a mechanical or fluid clutch? If fluid, where is the reservoir? If mech, how to adjust? Why would it suddenly have no clutch?
 
It is not uncommon for the clutch facing to stick to the flywheel/pressure plate surface(s) during extended periods of non use. Some folks block the clutch pedal down during such periods to prevent this.

Usually, the clutch can be "broken loose" with some creative (and careful) use.

Seems strange it would stick in middle of summer, and used less than a week ago. But the only other possibility is complete failure of the clutch disc, and that's unlikely- usually occurs when you're operating it, not while sitting.

My Oliver 550 sticks once in awhile, when not used. You can fix it without splitting it, or smashing it into trees.

Remove starter; tie the clutch pedal down; steal a kitchen knife from the house, preferably one that the little woman won't miss; heat it up about 2 inches from the end, and bend it 90 degrees. Working through the starter hole, insert the bent blade between the clutch disc and flywheel; rock the knife handle a little, to get a little prying action; rotate flywheel, repeat. On about the third or fourth try, it'll come loose.
 
Mechanical clutch. Adjustment is in the linkage between teh pedal and where it goes into the bellhousing. (an owners manual would be well worth the price - has adjustment procedure and lots of other useful info.)
 

Thank you to all who responded to my "stuck clutch" problem. I took the starter out and pried between the clutch and flywheel as suggested, and it it ok's now. Will keep the clutch pedal clamped down from here on out. -SLK
