mowing my crp ground today with my 500 hour 6410 and a 15 ft mower when i heard something bang against the cab.Got out and saw a chunk of the rear left fender broke out.I then saw a piece of deer antler sticking out of the tire.I've heard of this before, but never saw it.Guess it was my turn.

Just fixed one of those on the hay mowing tractor. 200 bucks to get the tire vulcanized plus the tube. Sorry to hear about your bad luck.

Those antlers have to fall off someplace, I have yet to find any, and it's on my bucket list! If it's a newer tubeless tire maybe you can plug it, I have done that successfully.

I find them every so often, most often in one particular field. Only got one stuck in a tire once so far... and was lucky enough to have it hit directly in a lug, so no leak.

That happens to me every year, twice this year so far, only one flat tire no fluid so a $200 repair. I give them flats in the winter and they try tyy to pay me back I guess.

I found a pair off the same buck just a few feet apart in a hayfield that I was bush hogging one summer. Luckily not in tirre. Saw him the previous fall, told the hunting party that I wanted him taken... Never seen during hunting season or after. But left antlers to remember him by.

Father-in-law got a nice set of antlers, head and neck in a combine corn header one fall. Probably a casualty of a car deer collision.

Usually one every other year. It will be on the first round opening up a hay field, once the first round is made the rack will be laying in the windrow behind my Kuhn 300.

Antlers would make my old New Holland 479 "bang" when they went through the crimpers. The Kuhn uses flails to condition, so the racks are now in better shape when I find one. DOUG

This place I call home is 600+ acres that are bordred on three sides by a federal wildlife refuge. We get one or two every year just luck of the draw what tire gets it. Rather have the tractor than the combine. Seems they most allways land point up.

Got a big 4 pointer in a rear tractor tire 2 yrs back.
All 4 spikes went in + the brow tine.
Cost me a new tire.

year after 1 scooped up 2 big bucks skeletons horns and all in the haybine only a couple swaths apart.
I think they got shot and left to lay.
Ofcause the racks got all broke up and took out a handfull of sections and a couple guards.
