Cleaning brass

Anyone who has been in the military will know the words "Brasso". I think you can find it where guns are sold. It does a graet job of removbing the oxidation on brass.

Many happy sessions sitting around with the guys in the barracks, using Brasso to clean up the brass. That's what you need. A pox on your steel wool!

You want to learn to polish brass you join the Navy.
Go get a package of unsweetened Kool Aid and put it into a pan with water and bring it to a simmer.
Put your brass in the brew and let them simmer for a little while. Wont make them shiney but will get the green crud out of the nooks, crannies and grooves. Then you can polish with Brasso.
Depending on which political party you belong to you can then drink the Kool Aid.
