Got injured today, not going to be able to bale for a few days. Have probably 200 bales on the ground, another 100 baled. Anyone who wants to come in and bale them is welcome to them - free. See my post on Kountry Life board. I'm in the Montcalm area phone book. Last name - Peterson

Hope you get on your feet soon. I think Rlund lives up your way. Maybe he'll give you a call. I have BILs that have cottages on Townline Lake. We went there today for the 4th.

So how did you get injured Ray?

Bummer about having hay on the ground. Hopefully someone will come around soon to help you out.

Called Randy first. He"s up to his neck in hay too. Thot he might know someone closer... He"s too far to drive a tractor & baler.

Any luck yet Ray? Could you find Woolworths number?
With a little luck,I should be done by tomorrow night. Maybe DK and his son and I can at least get those picked up out of the field this week if somebody can get ahold of him.

Randy, have a neighbor up on the county line, just east of M-66. Went up to see him this afternoon. Offered him the hay for baling, removal from field. Within an hour and a half he was in the field with a round baler. Estimated that there were 200 squares on the ground. I had double raked, was baling in the lowest gear on the MF 180, to keep from overloading the baler. He was rolling same windrows at 8 to 10 mph! I clocked him with the car. Took him no time at all to clean up field, 11 rounds. He loaded my squares, about 90, delivered them to the house - now tarped. Was glad to get any hay, as he"s running short. I wasn" very happy with the hay due to weediness, he didn"t mind.

Took my bandage off this evening, it ain"t pretty! 18 stitches, and still wetting bandage. Just went outdoors to out something in the car. Stepped on something on the steps, went down. Think I sprained my wrist - yup same one! Gonna be a long week. At least hay is baled, and neighbor plans to haul it off tomorrow, wether permitting.

Got a look at it tonite - wife, nurse, said 18 to 20 stitches. Hurt a bunch last nite. Got up in night and wife dressed it again, not so tight, stopped hurting somewhat. Fell on outside porch tonite, think I sprained the same wrist.
