Antique Tractor Show Pics

The tiny town of Port Hope, MI put on a tractor show every year as part of their 4th of July festivities. That is one thing I look forward to. This year was no exception. It seems there is always something different there. On the other side of the trucks in some of my photos is the truck/tractor pulls. Here's the link to my photos. Hope you like them!

Looks like a great show. What was that threshing machine like machine? Looked like they were chipping up wood?

Jay, nice pictures, thanks for posting. Nothing better on the 4th of July than a tractor show. Thanks for posting. Marto

Jay: Thanks for the old time farm machine show.I enjoyed it very much. May I be a little critical here? Where are the people? Most photos show a complete lack of attendees in any direction. Surely the public attends a nice show like this in your part of the world.

Great pictures, brings back memories. My dad farmed in the "thumb" of Michigan not very far from Port Hope for many years. I see a bunch of Olivers in the show. Dad always liked to run Olivers.

 With the tractor pulls right beside the show most people end up there. When I got there, there was quite a crowd at the flea market. The flea market is on the same property as the tractor show (and tractor pulls). The whole thing is put on, on the grounds of the high school.

I've never been into tractor pulls that much. I like to go to the tractor show to watch people drive their tractors around. I wish I took some video of the various people driving their tractors.

It was doing corn. It's there every year. I don't know when they do the demonstration of it working. I went earlier this year to try and see it in action, but I guess it still wasn't early enough. :x

Nice pics - thanks for sharing. I like how your show was arranged in rows so exhibitors could have campers behind their exhibits - pretty neat idea.
