golf carts/utv at Pennfield show and Rantoul

Does anyone know the rules applied at the Penfield tractor show and the Half Century of Progress show. I have a polaris ranger I want to bring and I want to make sure I meet their criteria for riding around on it.

Yes and Yes. Penfield you need to register, and also @ Rantoul. Google their websites for more info.

I have taken my ranger to Penfield, and am taking it to Rantoul this year.

I was told at Rantoul last time around that golf carts, utv's or anything with four wheels is allowed except four-wheelers. They don't want a bunch of kids hot rodding around with them. That is what I was told. If you've never been to Rantoul you will sure be glad you have something to get around in. There would be a ton of walking if you didn't. Mike

Both half Century & the I&I have a Web for info. Stop by our tent at Penfield & Rantoul we would like to meet people we chat with.Our tent at Penfield will be a small tent next to the school stop by & buy a raffle ticket or cap etc.We will have a large tent & display at Rantoul. I guess my question was more along the line of do you need to show proof of insurance to use your utv at either of the shows?

I checked with Jack Allen which is in charge of registration. Jack said I&I has a form for you to fill out and sign stating you have insurance & list the insurance company & your agent. There is a $ 10 charge for registration. No 4 wheelers allowed. Earl
