a litle ot but engine related-- it will go like a house on fire then it starts to slow down and to the point it just about stalls out-- things i did--cleaned the fuel tank-new fuel filter -filed the points-valve job-- rechecked tappets-- cleaned carb -checked fuel pressure-checked for intake leak-checked the spark before the run and after and its hot and blue-- if i dont feel inspired soon its going on the auction block--cant stand it much more-- are you looking?

check the exhaust system if it cant get rid of it it cant take in any air and fuel two cycle engines are good for pluging up thr muffler take it off and put in fire and cook out the carbon i may be wromg but worth a try old art

You said you checked the fuel pressure, what about when it's about to die?
Does it have a vented fuel tank? Vent stopped up? Maybe the fuel cap is the vent and is stopped up? Run it with the cap off and see if it does the same thing (use caution gas doesn't spill when moving and cause a fire).
