OT: Court Spectator fined and jailed

A spectator in the trial of Casey Anthony flipped his middle finger to the Prosecutor Jeff Ashton. The judge gave 6 days in jail and fined him $400.00 plus $223.00 court costs. Hal
 
I an sick of the whole thing,all of these low lives making an industry out of the deth of a little girl it is disgusting! If thejudge had half a brain he would have not allowed all the cameras in, and let the press to run the show but I guess the judge wants his T.V. show also
 
He will probably be on Letterman and become a celebrity now, prob the biggest thing thats ever happened to him, a server at TGIF......

All the circus over a poor murdered little innocent girl while the family (other then the mom) will get rich with books n movies

that the way every thing in the new media happens. give the spot light on the side lines and forget the main reason why they were there in the first place.
 
Of course being on the jury might be different.

From what I have saw I couldn't place a vote. I couldn't vote guilty and I certainly couldn't vote not guilty because of so many conflicting testimonies.

What would happen if a juror told the judge that in all honesty I can't vote. Would the juror be in trouble? would they put in the alternate? Would it be hung jury or just what? In a trial like this judge should understand how a person couldn't make a decision on the evidence and testimony provided.
 
Law says prosecutor must prove beyond reasonable doubt. Had some more but filter rejected O.J Simpson and Ramsey cases references. RN
 
Forget the kid. He's a punk and shoulda got 30 days. Casey is as guilty as sin and should get the needle. I lost my grandaughter in 2005 and I had some of the same feelings that George expressed on the witness stand. When you cut all the fat aside, Casey put Caylee to sleep with clorophorm, smothered her with duct tape, and fed her to the worms.
 
I was in favor of her getting the needle, but that may be too easy for her. I think she should get life without any parole and let the
inmates punish her for killing that baby of her's. She may get worse than the needle. Hal
 
....and if she would have killed her like two to three years earlier via abortion, it would be okay for the government (you and me) to help by financing some of it, hhemm?? Something is really wrong!!
