hydraulic oil pump

my oil pump seems to be weak. It will not raise the bucket. the 3pt hitch will lift but just bearly.If you put your hand on it ,it will stop.Has anyone changed one. is it difficult? thanks

did you check the hyd filter? Maybe hyd valve linkages or valve or pump. Does the pump make a different noise than normal?

Most tractors have a screen on the suction side of the pump. Check it and insure it's not stopped up before doing anything else.

You need to give some more information. What tractor, how are the hyd's hooked up, etc., etc.

With the lack of info you gave no one can help you help your self. There are thousands of models of tractors and each one works different so you need to tell us what you have etc etc etc. It cost the same to say what you did or fill in the blanks
