I'm restoring a JD 2510 and is looking for a reliable business that sandblast and paint tractors. Somewhere in Northern Arkansas or Southern Missouri. I planned on getting it painted this fall. Thanks for your input.

I agree. Most of the people on this forum do their own work as a "labor of love".

Since restoring a tractor can be very labor intensive, and the retail price of paint materials will give you sticker shock, be prepared to be billed accordingly. Nobody doing it for a living will give many freebies. Expect to be asked to pay incrementally as the job progresses. If there isn't, there should be a contract to that effect. It's for your own benefit.

A neighbor once complained to me that his own son-in-law had charged him $3,000 to paint a tractor. After looking the tractor over, it looked to me like he'd gotten a bargain.
