Flushing hydraulic fluid from back-hoe

I just purchsed a used 10" back-hoe for my Ford 3400. It has been sitting about 10 years and some of the hoses were left uncovered. Is there a way to flush all the lines and cyclinders on the back-hoe. That will I know it is clean. The back-hoe is off the tractor now. thanks

I don't think there is one good way, Probably the cheapest is to blow air threw everything. You might also put a filter on the return line and work everything and change it often. This might not get the water all out.

I wouldn't worry about it

unless the unit is fairly new, the hydraulic oil will change itself fairly often

may sound like nonsense but this will make sense to you after you use it a while
