12 volt conversion

I have a 1963 farmall cub,and am in need of a 12 volt conversion kit so I can enjoy it properly. Any help would be appreciated. thank you.

Change to neg ground, and get a 1 wire alt. interchange wires on coil, change all bulbs to 12 volt. I would think a cub would be fine on 6 volt. something else must be wrong.

This set of diagrams has one for an alternator.
It is a three wire setup, but (in my experience the best option). A Hitachi alternator from a 1986 Nissan D21 pickup will work well and is small.
The S terminal on the Hitachi is the #2 terminal on the Delco. The L terminal is equal to the #1 terminal. Reverse the leads on the amp meter and replace the bulbs. install the battery negative ground. If it is a mag, leave the ignition alone.
If it is a distributor, a ballast resistor is needed, and the coil Plus small terminal needs to be hooked to that, the Neg terminal of the coil goes to the Distributor. Thus reversed from where it is now. A mid 60s chevy resistor is great. Jim
